Guests were chauffeured from their hotels to ‘Iolani Palace, where they were greeted by the Kings Guard. From there, they were led through the back entrance of the Palace, past the historic koa staircase, and out the front doors to the paved entry, where they were seated for a 4-course plated sit-down dinner.
Placed beneath a 180ft clear top tent, were a mix of long king tables adorned with purple napkins and gold placemats and round tables draped in eggplant purple table linens. Each table was dressed slightly different from the next. Tying the color scheme together were brilliant colored floral arrangements by our Partner, Passion Roots.
Our cocktail area was featured outside of this tent, looking up towards the front of the palace steps. High top tables were dressed in burgundy linens each tied with a gold sash, completing our ‘royal’ theme.
As the sun set, twinkling lights of blue and purple began to appear. Elaborate lighting had been intentionally placed on the Palace grounds within the surrounding trees to create an even more magical ambiance for Guests.
