Philip Richardson

With more than 30 years of applied event planning and management experience, Philip Richardson is the driving force behind Current Affairs. He oversees the creative direction of every event, including orchestrating the exciting entertainment. Our Team will focus on all of your senses when creating your event’s entertainment: sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste. In addition to the five senses, we believe that the heart and mind are also sensory and connect with Guests and entertainment. Current Affairs’ entertainment will kindle these senses in each of your Guests, resulting in a memorable event for everyone on your Guest list.

Tiffany Richardson

Having been immersed in the Current Affairs brand from a young age, Tiffany Richardson has overseen hundreds of events for Current Affairs. During the company’s over 35 years in business, Current Affairs has cultivated an extensive list of stunning venues on Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Lanai and the Big Island of Hawaii, giving the company significant experience with many private estates. From the State of Hawaii’s Governor’s Mansion to Iolani Palace, the only official royal palace on U.S. soil, Current Affairs has developed the skills and connections necessary to choose the best, creative venue based on your criteria. Our Team asks for three of the following priorities to help guide your venue selection process: Guest list size, geographic location, event concept, cultural significance, event budget or travel time from your hotel. We use this knowledge and become passionately engaged to make your venue choice an integral part of your event’s success.
